Formulation Development
If you have an exciting new product idea you would like to develop, our experienced team would be happy to assist with research and formulation development.
Dispensing
We stock over 1100 different raw materials and can also source raw materials if need be (Minimum Order Quantities apply)
Blending
By combining high quality equipment with high quality materials our hard working experienced team can manage to blend up to 3 tons of powders per day.
Manufacturing
We have a wide variety of product applications we can manufacture, this is done in capsule, powder, cream, liquid, tablet, coated tablet, sachets & ointment forms.
Packaging
We stock multiple packaging options for the applicable product applications. We can also assist with sourcing packaging if need be (Minimum Order Quantities apply). Secondary packaging (labels, shrink sleeves, box cartons, etc.) needs to be delivered to MJ Labs prior manufacturing.
Analytical Laboratory
Our analytical laboratory plays a key role in our quality management system, from fourier transform infrared spectroscopy for material identification, moisture content determination, organoleptic evaluations to in process checks for capsules/tablets: Mass & mass uniformity, disintegration and hardness testing.
Label Guidance
We can assist with basic label information based on the SAHPRA guidelines: Naming and Labelling Conventions for Active Ingredients in Complementary Medicine.
Vitamin Fortification
MJ Labs is one of the few manufacturers in South Africa that manufacture fortification premixes and health supplements in powder form. We can manage to blend up to 10 tons of fortification powders per day.
